Accelerated Reader (AR) is a proven, level-based program which helps students build
reading mastery at their own individual level.
The program works by students reading a book and then taking a
computerized multiple-choice quiz.
Each quiz earns the student a set number of points depending on the percentage
of correct answers.
Rewards are given to those students who meet their goal. Goals are set by
the teacher and student.
